Chicano Men

There were several ideas that caught my attention. One of the pieces that really stood out to me in this essay is the idea that males in America may be stigmatized for engaging in any sort of homosexual action, but a Chicano man would only be considered effeminate if he were receiving the anal sex. Also, it is interesting that there is a relative lack of data or study on Chicano homosexual men but that there is extensive documentation of lesbian homosexual actions. This reveals a clear gender bias in the cultures view regarding homosexuality. The whole assimilation and coexistence in two different world is vey interesting.
