Faggot = Loser

Although I also realized the same things everyone else did when they read this essay, that people go around calling others faggots without usually actually meaning the definition of the word, I thought the most interesting aspect of this is that people get offended when called faggots or gay but they probably wouldn't get offended if someone called them "straight" of "heterosexual" instead. Why the need to get defensive when called faggot/gay/homosexual, but not when called straight/heterosexual? Many people are accepting of gays but I believe that this aspect of homosexuality needs to be considered.
