"This interactive symposium, sponsored by the USC School of Social Work and LGBT Resource Center, will feature a panel of transgender activists, medical practitioners and distinguished faculty that will address critical issues affecting transgender individuals. The purpose is to provide students, faculty and staff members from the School of Social Work and special guests an in depth understanding of the transgender community that will create strategies for an improved working relationship.
