Drag U Jocks in Frocks

For this assignment i watched the jocks in frocks episode of Drag U. First i must say that this was something i definitely would never watch in my entire life (for no other reason than i find it a bit strange). While i did find it to be a little weird i also found it to be a little funny and actually this episode brought back a little memory of highschool where the cheerleaders would make a dinner for us football players the night before homecoming and we would just get a chance to relax and have some fun before the big game. At these dinners the cheerleaders used to convince some of us to do the cheers they would do at games. While we wouldnt take it to the extreme that was taken to in the episode i must admit that it usually ended up in a lot of laughter and fun (not to mention someone always inevitably falling flat on their ass). I related to claim "41:The whole point of Camp is to dethrone the serious. Camp is playful, anti-serious. More precisely, Camp involves a new, more complex relation to 'the serious.' One can be serious about the frivolous, frivolous about the serious." To us this wasnt about being cheerleaders or prancing around in pom poms but it was rather a way for us to blow off some steam before playing in our homecoming game (which usually meant a stressful week let alone a day) the next day.
