Jocks in Frocks

In her essay, Camp talked a lot about how everything should be very entertaining, playful, and basically just light-hearted. When watching "Jocks in Frocks", I felt like this was the key to succeeding in the competition. The drag queens that took the challenge of dressing up and training their jocks to be females as more of a fun job did much better than those that were too serious about the whole thing. Likewise, the jocks that were too uptight about the whole thing, like Raja's partner, messed everything up by being too conscious and stiff. This is probably also the reason that Carmen went home again, despite the fact that she was given a second chance on the show. She was bent on winning, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but because of this, her partner ended up looking ridiculous. This is the same thing that made Carmen lose in the lip-sync off against Raja. Raja was more into having fun and she looked much more free and spontaneous in this round, while Carmen seemed a little too conscious.
